We are pleased to announce that Janelle Walker will be the new Director of Communications for the Susquehanna Conference. Janelle has served as the Associate Director of Communications since July 2017. In that time, she helped rebrand the conference, created a new website, and led efforts to reformat the LINK and QuikLINK. Janelle, who has shown exemplary leadership in and beyond the communications department, attended General Conference in St. Louis earlier this year and has a deep insight into our church and the needs of our conference.
Her new responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Communications Department in setting priorities and living into the vision of the Conference
- Being the Spokesperson for the Annual Conference with secular and church media outlets
- Contracting and overseeing video production needs of the Annual Conference
- And continuing to help local churches improve their communications efforts.
