Sarah Filizzi
Bishop Park is pleased to announce the hiring of Sarah Filizzi as the new part-time Administrative Assistant in the Episcopal Office. Sarah has taken on the position that was held by Kris Sample for 15 ½ years. Kris retired the first week in October.
Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her to this position. For six years, Sarah was on the staff of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church. While on staff, she provided support services in different capacities to the Director of Communications, Treasurer and the Benefits Officer. Sarah also managed and maintained their online database. Part of her job was to provide training for districts and local churches on the use of the database.
Sarah will work closely with Christy Mackey, Executive Administrative Assistant to the Bishop, to continue to provide excellent communication and service to the Annual Conference. She will also work with the District Superintendents and the District Administrative Assistants regarding pastoral service records, appointment changes, and database updates and changes.
“I give thanks to God for both the faithful service of Kris Sample and for God’s leading Sarah to be part of an incredible conference staff,” said Bishop Park.
