On behalf of the Council on Finance and Administration and the Episcopal Office, we need to share the news of the resignation of Mrs. Andra Haverstock as our Conference Treasurer/Comptroller. Andra has served our Susquehanna Annual Conference as the Conference Treasurer for the past three years. Previously, she served as Conference Pension and Benefits Officer.
We are very grateful to Andra for her service to our conference with these very demanding responsibilities and her faithful stewardship of our conference resources, as well as her participation as a member of the Full Cabinet. Our prayers and thoughts are with Andra in this time of transition.
On January, 25, 2019, Kelly Cox, Conference Benefits Officer, announced her resignation. Since then, Kelly has rejoined the team through March 31, 2019, on a temporary, part-time basis to help us through this time of transition.
Over her 3 years with the Susquehanna Conference, Kelly has brought a beautiful and helpful presence to her position and has guided many of you through changes in the health and benefits areas. She has truly offered herself in ministry to the church in every interaction. We are grateful for Kelly’s continued assistance and we wish her the best in her future ministries.
In the meantime, please know that the Conference Council on Finance and Administration along with the Finance Office and conference leadership will continue to serve the needs of the conference. Rev. Jason Mackey, who is the Director of Connecting Ministries and Administrative Services will provide daily oversight of the Finance Office at this time. Please contact Mrs. Mollye Inners, receptionist of the conference office at 717-766-7441 with your questions and she will direct your call. We are committed to respond to your needs. We want to assure you that conference staff are in place to serve you and your church. We ask for your prayers for the Finance Office, Council on Finance and Administration, and conference leadership during this time of transition.
With You in Christ’s Ministry,
Jeremiah J. Park Timothy R. Baer
